Full software development kit for Half-Life 2 to come shortly after game's release.
Half-Life 2 developer Valve has released the Source software development kit tools for Half-Life 2 via Steam, the company's software delivery and content management service. According to Valve, the release "offers a comprehensive toolset for starting production on Source-based MODs, including Hammer, XSI EXP for Half-Life 2, compiling tools, the Source Model Viewer, documentation on programming, modeling, building materials, and more." The full software development kit will be made available shortly after Half-Life 2 is released on November 16
