Introduction
In this day and age we need access to our data as easy and as quick as possible. Often having to take our data with us to various locations in order for us to utilize it. With this in mind and having the extra risk of carrying potentially massive amounts of data we need something that can protect your hard disks from damage, keep your drives cool and also have the aesthetics to match your PC hardware. Today we look at the Mapower Warps Portable 3.5" External Enclosure from Fortunetec. Something we gave a 10/10 and a Gold Award for its great design.

Inside the package you will find everything needed to setup your external enclosure, screws, stand and detailed instructions for pulling apart the enclosure, inserting your hard disk and then through to installing under your particular operating system including Windows XP, Windows 98, Apple Macintosh and even Linux all in one kit.
Also you will find the installation manual, a mounting stand for mounting the drive upright, power supply and in our instance a USB 2.0 Cable.

The unit is made from a brushed Aluminium type style with dark grey grillles used for great air flow, I personally think out of all the USB 2.0 3.5" Enclosures i have seen on the market this would have to be one of the most pleasing to the eye. The unit looks fantastic and is also solid to protect against any knocks or bumps of your hard drive.
Above is the specifications listing found on the back of the box. The model that we received for review from fortunetec was the KC31U2 model with USB 2.0.
