Antec Truepower 430 Power Supply - Page 2

Packaging and presentation:
The Truepower arrived in a well designed box which easily attracts attention, all of the features and ratings are easily read on the back of the box.

The box contained the following components:

o Antec Truepower 430 PSU
o Cables including the SATA and 240v cables (finally)
o Instruction manual
o Packet of screws for mounting the PSU

Taking the PSU out of the packaging we see two double ball bearing fans too keep the noise low and the airflow consistent.

The Molex connectors are all coloured black and the 20 pin cable are sleeved which is a good touch from Antec especially for a good airflow throughout the case. There is also an external switch which can be good for isolating the PSU with the cable attached. We even get 2 x SATA connectors which are a lot neater than SATA power adapters.

The Antec Truepower 430 is ready to mount in your ATX chassis as soon as you take it out of the box and the fact that screws are included saves a bit of time rummaging around for screws that will actually fit. Just install the unit as a normal PSU, remembering to connect the fan sensor wires to the motherboard
