Introduction

What do we look for in a case? Looks? Drive bays? upgradeability? Today we have a look at a case which has all that. Not only that its BIG! and a metallic blue. We have a look at the Champion KA-130BL case from Fortunetec Australia priced at around $240.

Specifications

When you buy a case, you want to buy something that will last you for future upgrades, enough room to put multiple hard disks. and of course you want something that looks good. This case does have it all looks and definitely room to upgrade in the future. The first thing you will notice about this case is the size, this is not a small case at all. I was quite amazed with the size of the case. I have an Aopen HX08 full tower case and I thought that case was big. This is another 10 centimetres or so larger.

The company Fortunetec Australia is the distributor of all different computer cases, from small ones to large ones, desktop cases to rack mounted cases. The company also are the distributors of numerous power supplies for for PC's and servers even offering redundant power supplies.

Lets take a look at the case in more detail.

One thing that really impressed me was the colour of the case, a bright metallic blue. Fortunetec Australia also have the case available in many other colours including the traditional beige. and some unusually bright colours such as a green.

The power supply that came with the case is a HEC 300 Watt PSU. Fortunetec also have the power supplies available for this case in 250W ,300W, 400W, 460W or even Redundant P/S 2x300W as well.. The HEC power supply has won the best power supply award from Chip Magazine. Germanys well known PC magazine. and is both Intel and AMD certified.
