Posted by AusPcWorld on 14 August 2004 (856 views) Rating: 5

Introduction

Today we have a look at the Radeon 8500 Deluxe 128MB GPU from Gigabyte. This card named the MAYA features 128MB DDR, ATI's Smartshader Technology and comes packed with loads of free software. Does the extra boost of memory have what it takes up against other cards on the market?

Product Info & Packaging

The Gigabyte card comes packed with everything you should need to get up and running, one thing that really suprised me was the amount of games that came included. A tremendous effort from Gigabyte for delivering a product packed with so many extras.

Inside the box you will find:

* Instruction manual
* Composite/S-Video cable
* DVI-VGA Connector

The following software and games are also included:

* Serious Sam
* 4X4 Evo
* Heavy Metal
* Rune
* Motorcross Mania
* Power DVD XP 4.0
* MAYA Driver CD with V Tuner.
